Paraplegics walk again thanks to spinal cord stimulation

Scientists from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) use targeted spinal cord stimulation via an implant to restore limited locomotion to paralysed patients who had chronic spinal cord injury. Matthew Stock reports.
